—from first-time water comfort to stroke technique and distance.


FUN-damentals of the Water
Floating and rolling, safety walk (monkey walk), water discovery and kicking.
Water Acclimation/Comfort
Safety Skill: Moving along the pool and exiting safely.

Side Breathing and Development of Freestyle
Learning side breathing for front crawl (freestyle), streamline and understanding the separation and movement of arms and legs.
Beginner Water Survival
Safety Skill: Float-Roll-Float.

Freestyle and Development of Backstroke
Students will be able to swim a recognizable front crawl with side breathing demonstrating and understanding the movement/timing of backstroke with arms.
Advanced Water Survival
Safety Skill: Jump, Float, Swim.

Intro to Breaststroke and Treading Water
Students will be able to swim a recognizable back crawl (backstroke) and learn the breaststroke kick and breathing technique.
Stroke Development
Safety Skill: Treading water for survival for 1 minute

Butterfly and Flip-Turns
Students will be able to swim a recognizable breaststroke kick and learn the arms of breaststroke in this class, along with the introduction to the dolphin kick.
Stroke Progression
Safety Skill: Reach, Throw. DON’T Go.

Technique and Distance
Strengthening mechanics of the strokes and swimming distance. This class is designed to prepare students for developmental swim team programs and feeder swim teams.
Swim Team Prep
Safety Skill: Treading water for survival for 2 minutes

Ages: 6 months to 36 months
From infants’ first gentle splashes to toddlers’ underwater exploration, this parent-supported program builds water confidence from day one. Toddlers begin practicing essential survival skills — floating, returning to the wall, and safe water entry — all while having fun in a safe, supportive environment. Start your child’s lifelong water-safety journey today!
This academy features two
classes: a Tinys: Parent + Tot class (parent inside of water).
And Pros: Toddler Transition class with
minimal parent participation (parent outside of water).
Enrollment Note: Students must take at minimum one month of Tinys Class to be considered for Pro’s if under the age of 2 years.

These classes are designed for adults who are ready to build confidence, safety, and skills in the water. Whether you’re just getting started or looking to improve your technique, we’ve got you covered.
These classes feature two levels: a Beginner class, focusing on water comfort, floating, breath control, and basic strokes, and an Intermediate class, emphasizing stroke refinement, endurance, and lap swimming skills.
